★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Echt een super leuk restaurant! Zo heerlijk gegeten: kokkels, balletjes van kabeljauw, zeebaars en octopus. Alles authentiek Portugees. Ook heel veel gelijke vleesgerechten zagen we om ons heen verorberd worden. Met prima wijnen erbij! Als je tegen een beetje vrolijke chaos kunt moet je hier zeker gaan eten!
 Really a super nice restaurant! So delicious eaten: cockles, balls of cod, sea bass and octopus. Everything authentic Portuguese. We also saw many similar meat dishes being eaten around us. With excellent wines! If you can stand a bit of cheerful chaos, you should definitely eat here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk gegeten en veel! En eigenaar Alberto is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Als je heerlijk authentiek Portugees wil eten is dit absoluut het juiste adres! Ondanks dat het niet erg gestructureerd er aan toe ging, maakte het alleen maar gezelliger en ontspannen. Echt voor herhaling vatbaar!
Delicious food and lots of it! And owner Alberto is very friendly and welcoming. If you want to eat delicious authentic Portuguese, this is absolutely the right place! Although it was not very structured, it only made it more cozy and relaxed. Really worth repeating!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Top avond gehad met de familie, Alberto heeft ons heerlijk laten genieten van z'n Portugese lekkernijen, de gastvrijheid in een ongedwongen sfeer en een hele grote glimlach op alle gezichten. Echt een aanrader voor als je in de buurt bent, komen zeker een keer terug!
Had a great evening with the family, Alberto let us enjoy his Portuguese delicacies, the hospitality in a casual atmosphere and a very big smile on all faces. Highly recommended if you're in the area, will definitely come back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastisch lekker gegeten in een prettig tempo met een geweldig gastheer en vriendelijke medewerkers! Fijne sfeer, beetje een gezellige huiskamer, het gaat er gemoedelijk aan toe. Wij komen gauw weer, wonen nog niet zo lang in Assen, zijn wel echte Portugal-liefhebbers, zeker ook Porto! Je waant je ook een beetje op vakantie met dat fijne portugese sfeertje en de prachtige fadomuziek! Bestel je biefstuk, krijg je 2 grote stukken, perfect naar wens gebakken. De chef laat je aan tafel zien welk vlees of vis hij voor je gaat bereiden!
Na twee maanden weer eens geweest, heerlijke dorade en zeebaars gegeten, ?
Fantastic tasty food at a nice pace with a great host and friendly staff! Nice atmosphere, a bit of a cozy living room, it is pleasant. We'll be back soon, haven't lived in Assen for very long, are true Portugal lovers, especially Porto! You also imagine yourself on holiday with that nice Portuguese atmosphere and the beautiful fado music! Order your steak, you get 2 large pieces, perfectly cooked to your liking. The chef will show you at the table which meat or fish he will prepare for you!
Went again after two months, ate delicious dorade and sea bass,

The decoration of the store is Mediterranean influenced and gives you the beautiful Mediterranean vibe! Too bad we don’t live close by so we could visit often.
Very positive experience. Very happy with it!
