★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vriendelijke gastheer, die spontaan water levert bij de bestelde fles wijn.
Ook arriverende fietsers krijgen direct water.
Dat tref je niet vaak.
( Wij kwamen na onze wandeling wat drinken met een groep)
 Friendly host, who spontaneously delivers water with the ordered bottle of wine.
Arriving cyclists also receive water immediately.
You don't see that often.
(We came with a group for a drink after our walk)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nav de website verwachtte ik een luxe restaurant. Zag er ook allemaal erg netjes uit. Lunch was goed, maar randvoorwaarden lieten te wensen over. Zoetje bij de koffie? Heel kneuterig 1 tabletje (onverpakt) op een schoteltje, terwijl we met 3 aan de tafel zaten... Geen warm gevoel over het algemeen, werk aan de winkel qua gastvrijheid. De wil is er absoluut, ze doen hun best om een tijd met personeelstekorten in de horeca.
Based on the website I expected a luxury restaurant. Everything looked very neat too. Lunch was good, but preconditions left something to be desired. Sweet with the coffee? Very snuggly 1 tablet (unpackaged) on a saucer, while 3 of us were sitting at the table... Not a warm feeling in general, work to be done in terms of hospitality. The will is absolutely there, they are doing their best to cope with a time with staff shortages in the hospitality industry.

Great case! Lovely terrace. We will definitely be back for lunch. And heard today that it is also possible to eat here in the evening with a group. That's absolutely great

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Op een zaterdag mogen lunchen bij de Reynaert, helaas de laatste dag voordat de horeca weer dicht moest.
Leuke locatie met parkeer gelegenheid achter het restaurant en het restaurant ziet er gewoon keurig uit.
Eten vonden we echt van een goede kwaliteit!
De reden om de drie sterren te geven is de service zelf. Een jongedame die het vak aan het leren was en en een dame (de eigenaresse?) die het meeste werk aan de jongedame liet.
Wat erg opviel is dat eigenaresse (?) al wegliep terwijl je de laatste zin nog niet had uitgesproken, geen glazen meenam, onvriendelijk overkwam en bijvoorbeeld bij het restaurant verlaten niet even tot ziens kon zeggen. In een derde review las ik dat de reviewer zich ongewenst voelde, dat vat het goed samen.
We were allowed to have lunch at the Reynaert on a Saturday, unfortunately the last day before the catering industry had to close again.
Nice location with parking behind the restaurant and the restaurant just looks neat.
We thought the food was really good quality!
The reason for giving the three stars is the service itself. A young lady who was learning the trade and a lady (the owner?) who left most of the work to the young lady.
What was very striking is that the owner (?) already walked away while you had not yet pronounced the last sentence, did not bring any glasses, came across unfriendly and, for example, could not say goodbye when leaving the restaurant. In a third review I read that the reviewer felt unwanted, that sums it up well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a coffee after a long walk in the forest and heather fields between driebergen and Maarn. The only place open in Maarn on Sunday. Although we were wet and had rather dirty feet, they invited us in and we got a good coffee, fresh mint tea and tapwater for free. Which is still not common in the Netherlands, so this was highly appreciated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shame !! I enter this resturant with my wife and a waitress runs to us and says "We are full you should go somewhere else". there were so many free tables indoor and outdoor. !!!
Why would she say "You should go somewhere else" May be she knew that we were from the east or may be she didnt like the color of my jacket. Im confused between these 2 reasons

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I understand this place is for Locals which means there are mostly local residents around.. but ever heard about ''Travellers '' ?
They travel around, wanting to experience different cultures and meet people..( in most cases from different parts of the world ) !!
Yes i very much understand that the Owner/ workers in the restaurant are not '' outside people '' friendly... which was why when i entered the hotel with my husband , we were informed that there were no free tables when we could see 10 free tables around :)
And a great applause for the lady because she thought we believed her !! and ..Oh is this what we call R****M ?
