★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een verrassing. Ik verwachte al dat het goed zou zijn maar het bleek nog beter. De gerechten mooi in balans maar niet laf. De wijn heerlijk ondersteunend. En niet onbelangrijk, ook wel eens fijn om geen student maar volwassen gastvrouw en man aan je tafel te hebben die weten wat ze doen en er nog blij van worden ook!
 What a surprise. I expected it to be good but it turned out to be even better. The dishes are nicely balanced but not cowardly. The wine is wonderfully supportive. And not unimportant, sometimes it's nice not to have a student but an adult hostess and husband at your table who know what they're doing and it makes them happy too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hebben hier heerlijk luxe gegeten in de binnentuin. Voor- hoofd en nagerecht met goede afwisselende smaken en bereid met seizoensgroenten. Personeel was ook zeer vriendelijk. Voor herhaling vatbaar!
We had a delicious dinner here in the courtyard. Starter and dessert with good varied flavors and prepared with seasonal vegetables. Staff were also very friendly. Worth repeating!

Het team van het Arsenaal, bediening en keuken is gastvrij, professioneel, en oprecht vriendelijk en zij zorgen gezamenlijk altijd voor een mooie avond ( of lunch ). De verassende amuses, de uitstekende wijn per glas ( of arrangement ) het heerlijke eten maken je lunch of je avond uit eten tot een mooie herinnering.
Het Arsenaal is a beautiful, cozy and relaxing place in the center of Deventer. The Arsenaal team, service and kitchen are hospitable, professional, and genuinely friendly and together they always ensure a beautiful evening (or lunch). The surprising amuse-bouche, the excellent wine by the glass (or package) and the delicious food make your lunch or dinner into a beautiful memory.
