De wc ziet er chic uit en is uitgerust met handdoekjes, lekkere zeep en handcrème. Het heeft een mooie bar met fijne zitjes en is, zeker nu met Kerst, erg gezellig en knus om met een groep of met je liefje te borrelen. Maar meer ook niet wat mij betreft. De bubbels uit Maastricht waren top. Pellegrino wordt met citroen geserveerd, wat ik ook altijd waardeer. En ze hebben gemberthee. Top. We hadden met een grote groep een menu. Er stond tafelwater en er lag brood met erg lekkere dips. Vooraf een bieten, of niet-vega carpaccio. Die gerechten waren prima. Daarna had een deel vis (kabeljauw), vlees (sukade) en vega (aubergine). De vis was goed. Het vlees lekker van smaak, maar erg taai. En het vega gerecht zo weinig dat onze vega-collega met honger van tafel ging. Het dessert zag er mooi uit maar vond ik niet bijzonder. Al met al vond ik het wat een eten betreft een teleurstelling. De ambiance is mooi, de drankjes zijn lekker, het personeel is jong maar erg attent, maar qua eten moet het echt beter! The Anthony is a beautiful hotel / restaurant, with parking and space for your bicycle. The toilet looks elegant and is equipped with hand towels, nice soap and hand cream. It has a beautiful bar with nice seating areas and is, especially now at Christmas, very cozy and cozy to have a drink with a group or with your sweetheart. But nothing more as far as I'm concerned. The bubbles from Maastricht were great. Pellegrino is served with lemon, which I always appreciate. And they have ginger tea. Top. We had a menu with a large group. There was table water and bread with very tasty dips. Beetroot or non-vegetarian carpaccio in advance. Those dishes were fine. After that, a portion had fish (cod), meat (candied peel) and vegetarian (aubergine). The fish was good. The meat has a nice taste, but very tough. And the vegetarian dish so little that our vegetarian colleague left the table hungry. The dessert looked nice, but I didn't think it was special. All in all, as far as food goes, I thought it was a disappointment. The ambiance is beautiful, the drinks are tasty, the staff is young but very attentive, but food needs to be improved!
T	Tijme Balke on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to this place last weekend. This newly opened Hotel and restaurant looks very beautiful and still smells like "a brand new car". We were greeted by the lovely host Rahima who gave us a quick tour around the premisses. I have to say that the designer of the Hotel did a very good job with mixing the luxury of today with the history of the old monastery. At the restaurant we enjoyed a three-course menu which was perfectly paired with some nice wines upon request. This place is just what you need in a city as Utrecht. Good food for a good price.
