Functies die standaard behoren te zijn, en zelfs bij printers van een paar tientjes elders gevonden word, wordt hier verkocht voor €600,00 als extra module. Volgens de accountmanager zou deze module zou een stuk hardware zijn, dat door een monteur ingebouwd moet worden. Dat zou ook zo door Ricoh aan hem zijn verteld. Navraag elders leert dat deze module niks meer is dan een stukje third-party (opensource) software dat wordt ingeladen via een SD-kaartje. Als ondernemer proberen we allemaal een leuke boterham te verdienen, en daar is niks mis mee. Een product of dienst, mag naar waarde worden betaald. Maar een klant op deze manier het vel over de oren proberen te trekken is bijzonder klantonvriendelijk. Ook meent Ricoh dat er sprake is van een huurovereenkomst terwijl dit duidelijk een koopovereenkomst is. Ook houden ze er vreemde termijnen op na qua contract. Zo zou volgens hun berekening het contract ergens tot eind 2021 lopen. Allerlei administratieve fouten of slordigheden waar je weer achteraan moet. Beide kwesties zijn later wel alsnog recht getrokken, ook wederom pas na tussenkomst van de accountmanager. Omdat die kwestie is opgelost, pas ik ook de review aan van 1 ster naar 3. Conclusie is dat ik niet opnieuw voor een Ricoh printer zal kiezen gelet op de geniepige extra's die moeten worden bijgekocht, waar je vanuit mag gaan dat die standaard zijn. All kinds of administrative errors or sloppiness that you have to follow up on again. Both issues were later corrected, again only after the intervention of the account manager. Because that issue is resolved, I also adjust the review from 1 star to 3. The conclusion is that I will not choose a Ricoh printer again, given the sneaky extras that need to be purchased, which you can assume are standard.
