★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First, I admit to being an expat. But I've been living in Amsterdam for ten years in four neighborhoods and Comman is by far the best fietsenmaker of the dozen or so that I've used. Service is always friendly and always helpful. He's been very understanding of the special kind of emergency created by a broken bakfiets when 3 small children must be moved about between schools and creche. They even have loaner bicycles available. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience is that you get very experienced, friendly, good and above all very honest advice at Comman bicycle store. I recommend the Azor Oma fiets with the thicker wheels, which is super sturdy and is very convenient in Amsterdam with all the tramlines!! Also they provide excellent service, no fuss, very quick and no excessive costs!
