RobinZijn Wandelcoaching Arnhem - Schoolstraat 35-49

When I was 19 years old, I got into a relationship that led me to have jealous feelings. As a result, I went into a prolonged period of stress and became as much as a prisoner in my own head. Destructive thoughts made me believe I was 'not good enough' and dragged me into negativity. It was only when my family and friends no longer recognized me for the person they knew that I decided to seek help. For the first time in my life, I began talking about the thoughts and feelings I had, which helped me understand the fixed patterns in my brain. To reduce stress, I decided to end the relationship and to take some time to rediscover myself. I decided to do more relaxing activities and spend more time doing things that make me happy.

At the age of 24, I was in a relationship with someone who turned out to be suffering from anorexia. I felt the need to take care of her at all costs, but forgot to look after myself in the process. I went beyond my limits and ended up with a burnout. Through a psycho-therapeutic process I participated in, I realised I needed to take better care of myself. Since then, I have become kinder to myself and I let myself do things that feel good more often. I pay more attention to calm activities, such as mindfulness, yoga, reading and walking in nature. That's how I discovered deeper layers within myself that have allowed me to be more strongly connected to my own inner power and ability.

Currently, I am 27 years old and I am attending a course in Being Orientation in Arnhem and I provide training sessions on social-emotional development in schools. I feel that it is my mission to guide people so that they too can feel energised and full of love in their life. I long for a world in which people are self-aware and content, so they can in turn be more caring towards themselves and other people.
