★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een betrokken en gepassioneerd team geeft dagelijks les aan kleuters tot en met 12-jarigen. De kinderen hebben dagtaken en weektaken en trekken hun eigen leerplan door vanuit hunzelf te laten zien waarin hun interesses liggen. Wanneer kinderen in een rekenspurt zitten en veel willen rekenen, biedt school de mogelijkheid dat ze veel informatie tot zich kunnen nemen.
Kinderen helpen elkaar onderling en worden geleerd de antwoorden niet voor te zeggen, maar een volwaardige hulp te zijn voor hun schoolgenoot. 'Help mij het zelf te doen' is van groot belang voor de zelfverzekerdheid van een kind. De school brengt dat heel bewust over op haar leerlingen.
De methode Da Vinci is een fantastische methode waarin alles in 1 wordt behandeld. Een thema wordt van alle kanten belicht. Wanneer "Egpyte" wordt besproken, komt alles tezamen tot boeiende lessen met aardrijkskunde (topografie), geschiedenis, biologie, maatschappijleer, filosofie, techniek (met bijv lego piramides bouwen), natuur- en scheikunde.
De Montessori-materialen zijn heel prettig. Robuust, kleurrijk, doordacht. Er wordt veel met het digibord gewerkt. 2x per week krijgen de kinderen professionele gymles in de sporthal.
De school heeft een grote moestuin met kas waarin de kinderen regelmatig werken en van zaadje tot bijv tomaatje zien opgroeien, en daarna met de producten gaan koken. Waarbij rekenen, met het afwegen van producten, heel speels wordt gemaakt.
Als tevreden ouder met een kind op deze school worden we vaak verrast door de ontwikkelingen van onze zoon.
 A committed and passionate team teaches preschoolers up to 12 years old on a daily basis. The children have daily and weekly tasks and draw their own curriculum by showing from within themselves what their interests lie. When children are in a math rush and want to calculate a lot, school offers the possibility that they can absorb a lot of information.
Children help each other and are taught not to predict the answers, but to be a valuable help for their schoolmate. "Help me do it myself" is very important to a child's self-confidence. The school very consciously conveys this to its students.
The Da Vinci method is a fantastic method in which everything is treated in 1. A theme is highlighted from all sides. When "Egpyte" is discussed, it all comes together to fascinating lessons with geography (topography), history, biology, social studies, philosophy, engineering (eg building pyramids with Lego), physics and chemistry.
The Montessori materials are very pleasant. Robust, colorful, well thought-out. A lot of work is done with the IWB. Twice a week the children receive professional gym lessons in the sports hall.
The school has a large vegetable garden with a greenhouse in which the children regularly work and see them grow from seed to, for example, a tomato, and then start cooking with the products. In which calculating, with weighing products, is made very playful.
As a satisfied parent with a child at this school, we are often surprised by the developments of our son.
