β β β β β Excellent steak and beef tartare!
We visit this restaurant while in Amsterdam. We had the beef tartare and the dim sum for starters. A very creative approach of the dim sum both on presentation and taste. We had the black Angus steak as the main course. Even though a bit fatty, everything was really tender and delicious. The egg dessert was simply from another world! Good job!

β β β β β We enjoyed our early dinner. Food was delicious and staff was professional. Extra kudos as we brought a toddler along and staff was really friendly.
2 points of constructive feedback: as you have a lot of student employees would be great to increase diversity as it was completely lacking and we had the table for two hours and ate pretty quickly but due to kitchen timings had no opportunity to order dessert as the next guests were soon arriving. We really wanted dessert! So adjust booking timings to give opportunity for a full meal.

β β β β β The service was slow but that has become the norm during COVID with poor staff retention so understandable. The menu was very tough to decipher and cumbersome. The BBQ (meat) section says "you can pick the size" as the price is per 100 grams. However, they allow you to pick "between a very small range like 450 to 550 grams" or something like that. For 15 to 25 euros per 100 grams equals at least 70 to 80 euros per steak and up to 120 for the tomahawk. During the dinner it was difficult to get attention of the staff when seated outside. It took 3 or 4 passes (or about 15 minutes) to order wine for the table.
The food does come all at once which left us waiting an hour (while the steaks rested, I'm guessing) with nothing but conversation at the table. The steaks came covered heavily with shallots and chives which really distracted from the meat. This was not mentioned on the menu and if possible I would have preferred to ask for it not on the meat as I do not tolerate onions or shallots. The meat was well cooked to our direction but was incredibly fatty (adding to the weight). The bone marrow was mixed with a "chimichurri" which made it basically impossible to say there was bone marrow. And why ruin bone marrow with something like that? The side dishes were tasty but with only heavy flavors (like excessive smoke in the mashed potatoes).
Also the wine list was pretty unimpressive, especially for a Michelin starred restaurant.
In general, it was pretty disappointing.

β β β β β I really enjoyed this restaurant. The wines of this restaurant were not that expensive, but their flavour was great. Bread was really good as an appetizer. The Martini was really tasty but even though for me it was enough but for some people this might be too little. Same for the Dover Sole, but donβt forget the taste was great. Dessert was great as well. The giant peanut was a chocolate with ice cream. Really yummy. The cocktail containing espresso was the best thing for me! And donβt forget to get a free small ice cream!

β β β β β Overall this is a delicious restaurant.
The service was great and the waitresses were always smiling and patient.
We ordered the foie gras which was perfect.
The frog legs were a bit dry and the sauce was overpowering and was actually hard to eat.
The 3 star ribeye was very tasty and cooked exactly like we asked for. However, in a michelin star restaurant I expected more as I've had better ribeye steaks in the past.

β β β β β Tasty dishes individually, but we were struggling to find the common theme of the menu. Worth trying the oriental oysters and the onion βmartiniβ.

β β β β β We had lunch in this restaurant and it was a really nice experience. The staff is sympathetic and professional and the food is really nice and fresh. Delicious warm bread and nice wine. The only thing I found annoying is the sound which is really noisy.
Weβll come back to try some more dishes.
