Bedroom smelled of goats or unwashed old men. Shoddy bathroom repairs. Filthy sofa. Not dog friendly.

From small cabins to large bungalows for 10, sleepers clean and fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, 2 flatscreens. Nice restaurant, bowling, swimming pool and recreation area. Lots of things to do in the area (Wildlands Emmen, TT Circuit Assen etc etc)

The location and amenities here are ok, they appear to slowly be modernizing the rental properties and those that are done are comfortable and relaxing. During the daytime it’s a great experience however sleeping here will have you wanting your own bed in no time...

We are a group of 3-4 families and we've been spending the last ten years a longer weekend in this park on an annual basis. We've always left the tents behind in a very clean state. First of all, the atmosphere in the park is quite nice. But having said that, we've come here purely out of 'tradition', not due to the park's massive attractiveness. The park's management is clearly riding its cash cows - the tents which were built a million years ago and which are way overpriced for the accommodation/standard offered. Further, the washrooms are overdue in renovation. Now we've asked for a late checkout - at 12 instead of 10. The staff was not entirely friendly or service oriented in providing support. Rather the woman was adamant the tents had follow-up tenants - we checked online, and her statement was wrong. She also claimed the cleaning staff would need the time - out of own experience we know the cleaning staff spends a maximum of 5-10 minutes in the tents. Thus, unfortunately we've made a very unpleasant encounter. We also urge the park's management to put capital into the right places (ie. washrooms). And not offering a late checkout to customers is simply not the way to go... All in all we have mixed feelings. For kids the park is surely very attractive. But as said, lack of renovation is wearing the standard down. Not sure if we will return. Our most recent experience of not even offering the late checkout has frustrated us...

Great Park for families and kids. The stuff was always friendly. I like the big playground at the lake and the swimming pools. The cabine was in good shape and clean. We haven't used much of the animation program. Only thing that could improve is the restaurant. The food was pretty pricey for the quality.

House was perfect, close to store, beach, pretty much everything. Park was clean and well maintained. We ate in the restaurant a few times and while a tad expensive, the food and service were excellent! The park is in a nice location. Easy to get to many places and things to do while on vacation. Plenty to do on the park as well; bowling, mini golf, swimming in the pool or lake, water biking, bikes for rent and more. Would definitely come back here again.

Nice and clean, good size unit. Lots of space, trees and a nice little lake for the kids. We were off season, so nice and quiet. And province of Drenthe is just beautiful! We will be back again. Did miss a toaster in the unit.

An excellent week. Plenty of activities to do with the children, they need to update the website though as some activities are listed for 4yr old upwards but when you try to book it's from 5! Restaurant was limited. Accommodation was fine for what it was, a wooden hut but having a sand playground on the doorstep was brilliant ? Always having to go online to book some activities was irritating ? Would come again but upgrade the accommodation All in all a great week ?
