★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used RVL as an aankoopmakelaar. They helped me to buy a really nice house after just a couple of months of searching, with no stress. Also stopped me from making stupid mistakes with the wrong house. As a first-time buyer and also a foreigner to the Netherlands, I found their help and advice in navigating the housing market invaluable. They are really in the business for helping people, and not just for the money. I would use them again in the future (although i hope i don't have to move house for a long time ha ha). ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After calling me on a friday to reschedule the appointment for the next day on which I was supposed to leave the country, I moved things around so I can make it to the scheduled viewing. 2 hours before I finally had to be there I get an email saying that it has been sold and the viewing is cancelled.
While I understand the house market is moving fast, they could have let me know a night before that this happened so I can re-arrange my transport in the morning . Not very professional.

They answered all of the questions I had on the market and gave great advice when looking through properties. They were especially helpful when advising on bids and potential renovating costs.
