About Roti Mahal

β β β β β Went for a late lunch. Ordered with a buddy 2 dishes. One bread and one roti roll. Also 2 drinks to go with that. Took the staff or manager way too long to come and get our orders. Also took a very long time for the food to get to the table. Didn't had our drinks and the bread was cold and the toppings I choose weren't tasty at all. Costs way too much for so little service and such a rubbish taste. The manager was too busy to notice anything what was happening in his restaurant because he thought it would be wise to interview new applicants to work there right in the restaurant it self. Among the guests. Bad service and bad food. Wouldn't spend money there again.

There is no other agenda. I was there on Tuesday when you held your job interview with your new hires and a recruiter of some kind. In stead of actually fixing your issues, ask some other feedback or anything to help you, you just make the customer out for a liar. You took our order that day...after a while I might say. It might help you iron your the kinks of your business. Maybe make it better..

β β β β β Really cheap(we got lunch with 7.50 per person including tea) and nice place close to the center of the city. It is a Family-run restaurant with friendly personnel, who is available to give you suggestions about the best combinations and to clarify possible doubts about the food. The portions are pretty big and very tasty.
Two notes: 1)the service is quite slow, both for food and drinking
2) spiciness is not noted on the menu so you might get a spicy meal without knowing, better to ask

β β β β β Nice food and pleasant staff.
In Mauritius the Dal Puri is something of a National Treasure, and today I found my first Restaurant outside of London that serves fresh authentic ones.
We visited Almere today and had lunch at Roti Mahal. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and welcoming, speaking Dutch, English and Hindi.
We had roti with chicken and roti with Lamb. Both dishes were very tasty, the roti (Dal Puri) was really good.
It's not a cheap place but not overly expensive, but the restaurant is nice and tidy. The staff were very welcoming.
Worth a visit if you are Mauritian and want a Dal Puri.
