★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een fraaie en soms pittige wandeling! Bij de naam "Route des Vins" denk je (uiteraard) in eerste instantie aan een autoroute in Frankrijk, maar niets is in dit geval minder waar. Vanuit de parkeerplaats achter de Sint Cunnibertkerk
in Wahlwiller start een wandelroute langs de lokale wijngaarden. Het gaat 10,1 km (soms stevig) op en af over de Limburgse heuvels en door de groene dalen. Een mooie en (door informatieborden bij de wijngaarden) leerzame wandeling.
A beautiful and sometimes tough walk! With the name "Route des Vins" you (of course) initially think of a car route in France, but nothing could be further from the truth in this case. From the parking lot behind the Sint Cunnibertkerk
in Wahlwiller a hiking route starts along the local vineyards. It goes 10.1 km (sometimes briskly) up and down the Limburg hills and through the green valleys. A beautiful and (through information boards at the vineyards) educational walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deze route hebben wij in september 2020 gelopen. Een prachtig maar ook pittige route die je langs een aantal mooie uitzichten voert. Gestart bij de kerk in Wahlwiller. Onderweg in Eys op terras gezeten bij "Tantes". Een lekkere lunch met een fris "Tantes" biertje (aanrader!). De diverse wijnvelden zijn interessant. Na de wandeling hebben we lekker gegeten in restaurant "A gen Kirk" in Wahlwiller. Tip: Ze hebben daar heerlijke zuurkoolsoep! Daarna tevreden en voldaan met de auto terug naar de camping. Limburg is zo mooi!
We walked this route in September 2020. A beautiful but also tough route that takes you along a number of beautiful views. Started at the church in Wahlwiller. On the way in Eys sat on the terrace at "Tantes". A nice lunch with a fresh "Tantes" beer (recommended!). The various vineyards are interesting. After the walk we had a nice meal in restaurant "A gen Kirk" in Wahlwiller. Tip: They have delicious sauerkraut soup there! Afterwards, satisfied and satisfied with the car back to the campsite. Limburg is so beautiful!
