★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mehmet and his daughter Nur were wonderful! They went out of their way to accommodate us by giving us a lift to the station and back. Their cat was also a welcome addition :)
Marbling was an artistic technique neither my friend and I had approached before and they lead us through the steps with demonstrations. The snacks, coffee and tea were also lovely. It was an amazing and calming experience.
At the end we also took away all of the artwork we had created! Including two pieces of artwork by Mehmet with our names inscribed in Arabic onto the paintings. They went above and beyond ?✨

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very excellent experience here on the last day of 2018. The whole experience was like a meditation and I felt peace during marbling. At the end of this course, I had my name written in Arabic on the paper. Before I left he even gave me a marbling paint as a gift, and to be honest, that’s really a big surprise. Personally, this experience was really worthy.

Instructor Mehmet and his daughter Nur are kind, helpful and professional. They make all the things wonderful. Finally it is surprising and exciting that I can bring all of my printings back to home. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After having tried Turkish marbling a few years ago during my holidays in Turkey, I really wanted to try it again and install a setup in my arts&crafts studio. I contacted Rumi Kunst Instituut and they advised me on what materials to get. I got a beautiful, complete set with pre-mixed Ebru water, colors, brushes, paper and a marbling tray. Delivery was super fast, and they gave me detailed instructions about how to set it up. If you are looking into Ebru/Turkish marbling in the Netherlands, look no further! They also organize courses and workshops.

Finally, landed up on this page though im not from Netherlands but this is closest I could find. Best place to purchase authentic calligraphy tools ❤️. So so so happy and excited to get started.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came all the way from Canada to visit this institute. There is so much artistic wisdom as well as joy to gain from Dr. Kileci. He and his wife are so welcoming. I would strongly suggest taking one of their workshops to get the most out of their institute. He also sells a lot of art, both original and print. As soon as we came in, we were surrounded by his beautiful works of art, and welcomed by their warm hospitality. The workshop room is very exciting to be in. Tables are full of paints and brushes of different kinds. It makes you want to leave your daily stress behind and enjoy the warm atmosphere and simply do art. He is a good teacher. One of a kind place!
