Sailor Suite Coaster Mado - Levantkade 168

Super plek om Amsterdam en Amsterdam Noord te bezoeken, prachtige boot met eigen ingang en aardige en behulpzame host. Wij bezochten Amsterdam met onze eigen sloep, deze konden we langszij leggen, en op dit mooie schip slapen waar alle voorzieningen aanwezig zijn, schoon en fris. Ligt langs een steiger waar volop word gezwommen. Vlakbij op loopafstand neem je zo een pondje naar Amsterdam Noord. Tip huur een Felix scooter en je kan overal heen in de stad!

Incredible space! Truly a unique experience in Amterdam.

We were looking for a special palce to stay for the week-end, and I think we found the right spot. Cosy place, beautiful surroundings, and charming hosts, everything felt great!

Excellent opportunity to discover Amsterdam as you should: from the water. Well-equipped and cosy apartment on a ‘house boat’ with charming hosts. Conveniently located in a former harbour area. Cool architecture, barely tourists. Within minutes with Tram 7 to the city centre and Tram 26 to P&R Zeeburg (parking for 1 euro per day).

The Sailor Suite on the Coaster Mado is wonderfully refurbished, done to a very high standard and is in a beautiful location, with stunning views of the lake and river. The converted coaster is a beautiful, unique type of accommodation to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax The suite is very well equipped and with complimentary coffee, tea, snacks and drinks in the fridge, as well as lovely toiletries, every detail has been thought of (even with cups for us Brits now, thank you ?). It is in a great location, 2 miles from the city centre but with good public transport, it is easy to get everywhere. Offering a great opportunity to be away from the city centre and to see a different party of Amsterdam and with good local amenities - bar, restaurants, shops - on the doorstep, it is close to everything you could need. We were made to feel very welcome by all the family and by creating a private WhatsApp group a week before arrival, the communication was exceptional. From travel info and what to do on arrival, to recommendations and tips whilst visiting, we had lots of advice and whenever communicating, nothing was too much trouble. Marieke and Sander, you have created a beautiful suite which shows it has been done with love and care. Thank you for making our visit to Amsterdam so wonderful and for the warm, friendly welcome received from you all. If ever in Amsterdam again, we will definitely be coming back to you. Lovely location & great hosts! Very central yet super relaxing with wide canal & urban nature feel. Good beds, good coffee, nice layout and details. 10-15min travel to centre by bike or tram. We had lovely weather and then to have a swim after a nice day exploring Amsterdam is simply terrific!

We stayed three nights at the Sailor Suite and it was just perfect. We travelled with our seven years old daughter and she loved it too. There is a nice swing on deck. Also very positive was the communication with the hosts.
