Excellent work environment, good growth opportunities. It has been a challenge working in a truly global company. Sana has offices in the Netherlands, Ukraine, Sri Lanka, and the United States and Colombia, and we must be in constant contact with our colleagues in different time zones. This makes it very interesting to be in contact and learn from colleagues in different cultures. Everyone in the company is always available to help and have a clear focus on where we need to go to achieve our goals.

A lot of companies can learn from the hiring process at Sana. Interviews were in a relaxed setting, only relevant questions were asked and as a candidate you get a good insight into what the job actually entails. You can also expect to receive honest feedback after every round. I did find the hiring process to be a long one, in my case it took around 2 months from start to finish, but all in all it was a positive experience.

Sana Commerce has an international vibe and the company culture is dynamic and very much focused on growth. The ambitions are challenging but realistic and every opportunity there is to celebrate a success will be taken ;-). Next to working hard, Sana Commerce cares about their employees. Think of employee events, Friday afternoon drinks, fresh fruits, learning and development, coaching, yoga, bootcamp, workshops, chair massages. Your growth is as important as the growth of Sana Commerce.

Sana is a young, fast growing and very well managed international company. At Sana you have lots of opportunity to have impact, to grow, and to create your own career. Many initiatives are bottom-up. Its colleagues are young and fun and there is almost no politics. If your good enough, you're old enough is the motto. Awesome company to work for.

A 5-step recruitment process (3x interviews, 1 assessment and 1 business case). I completed all 5 steps and was then told they will not offer me a job because I did not have any tech experience (information that was known from the very beginning, via my CV). To add, during my final interview I was continuously told by one interviewer that he was very undecided about me (from start to finish). I also received a confronting psychological/personality breakdown from him. I did not find this very conducive at this (final) stage. From my understanding, a final interview should not be a point where an interviewer is only then learning about a candidate, getting information for the first time, and is uncertain the person can do the job. It should be a point where the interviewer/s are deciding between a few suitable and appealing applicants. I felt this entire 5-step process was a complete waste of my time, and, in all honesty, a shock to my system. During the 5-step process, I informed a few people about my progression with Sana Commerce, and everyone only had good things to say about the company. It is very unfortunate and disappointing that my experience ended in this way. I hope that Sana Commerce will do better in the future.
