We had the tasting menu which was incredible from start to finish, each dish different and bursting with flavor. The service was excellent, very warm and friendly. I want to take all my friends here. We went for the non- vegetarian surprise menu, and it was really a feast for the taste buds. The surprise menu is a three course menu that leaves you feeling well-sated. Service was friendly, their English was not great but their willingness to try made up for it. Their pistachio ice cream is probably the best pistachio ice cream I've ever had.

Everything that was brought to our table was so rich in flavor and incredibly delicious. The service is excellent, the waiters take the time to explain what you're eating. Place was full but the food didn't take long to come to our table. I can't recommend this place enough.
P	Peter Meijer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with a group of friends for dinner here. Very quickly after arriving I understood why it is important to reserve here beforehand. The interior is very welcoming and playfully decorated. The staff is very friendly and professional and attends to the tables frequently. The selection of food is great, we picked the surprise menu which gives you small tapas sized portions of about 70% of the menu. It's hard to pin down the actual style of kitchen as someone unfamiliar with it, but I would describe it as an interesting mix between Mediterranean and middle Asian cooking without being spicy. The serving size is great in my opinion, not too much but definitely not too little. For very big eaters, I would suggest adding some sides with the surprise menu. In short: service is fantastic, their food is great and original, I can also recommend the fig desert whisky with the desert. It's also decently affordable, gets down to about 35 euros with 3 courses and drinks pp.

Everybody was so polite and were giving their best to explain about the restaurant concept, how the dishes are prepared and the ingredients are selected, and also about the afghan culture!. Felt extremely welcomed and totally recommend it for the ones that are passing by Utrecht and looking for a great experience! It's also possible to sit outside next to the channel when it's a bit warmer, but the restaurant's decoration is very cozy and can make you feel closer to Afghanistan. But have state that the cherry on the top of the cake is definitely the quality of the service! It's hard to think about a restaurant with such a high standard of service! They're definitely happy to work over there! ??
