The only thing that is good about this place is that it is relatively close to the train station(20min walking to city centre). Otherwise you are living next to a cemetary with 80% Asian and Arabic people ("international" housing). The rooms are kinda okay, if you dont count the paper walls, mountains of dust and prison beds(if you are taller than 1.7m and value good sleep, this is not a place for you). You are living together with 4 more people in your appartment with who you share a toilet, shower and kitchen. The biggest dissapointment is the kitchen, without an oven and a too small fridge for 5 people. Even though the housing is almost new (sept. 2013) there is a lot of stuff that is broken or it doesnt work. There are balconies in some rooms, but are locked so you cant go there, and in rooms with the balcony you cant open the window. The biggest problem is that the housing has no common area where the people could hang out. (There is a basement, big enough and eqipped, but they dont wanna open it). There is supossed to be a bike parking area, but if you park at the housing the caretaker might blow your tyres. I am not even gonna go in the caretakers direction, because the only thing they do is exist(sometimes) and give out stupid fines without a reason. They wont be able to help you with anything. There is wifi available, but the connection is very poor, and they cut off the internet randomly. One more thing, which depends on your roommates, but most of the rooms battle the same problem. Since you are living with 4 more people be prepared for sh*t...If you want your living space to be clean, you will be cleaning after 4 more people. My personal experience with asian people(most are Vietnamese) and arabic people was bad. They are just dirty...Again, not speaking about all, but about my personal experience during the stay there. For a price between 420 and 500€ per month, I would strongly suggest you to find an alternative sollution for your stay in Deventer.

Good environment that is conducive for studying. Nice and warm with adequate space.

Fine student housing with plenty of space in the individual rooms. Every room has its own washing table but the other accomodations are usually shared with 5-6 other people. Only go for student housing when you're used to sharing a living space.

Too pricey, you paid 400ish for like 13m2 room and share the appartment with 4 other students (5 total) and there is only 1 Fridge, no oven or microwave. One more thing, the building is next to the Cemetery (I don't care tho but just want to remind other student who want to live here)
