Schaak en Go Winkel Het Paard is sinds 1987 een unieke spellen- en denksport winkel gevestigd in hartje Amsterdam. In de afgelopen dertig jaar hebben wij ons gespecialiseerd in alles op denksport gebied en zijn wij uitgegroeid tot een begrip in Amsterdam en ver daarbuiten. Sinds 2003 zijn we gevestigd op Haarlemmerdijk 173.
Onze sortering spellen, en boeken over spellen, is één van de beste van Nederland en misschien wel van de hele wereld. Onze specialisaties liggen voornamelijk op het gebied van: schaken, go en bridge, maar we hebben ook een zeer groot assortiment en veel kennis van bekende en onbekende bordspellen, kaartspellen en puzzels.
Het is onmogelijk om al onze producten op deze webwinkel te laten zien en wij nodigen u dan ook graag uit om eens een kijkje te komen nemen in onze fysieke winkel.
Ons team bestaat uit mensen die zelf spellenliefhebber zijn. Wij kunnen u daarom altijd deskundig adviseren. Wenst u specifiek advies neem dan contact op met één van onze medewerkers: 020-6241171 of stuur een email naar [email protected].
De winkel is bereikbaar met bus 18, 21 en 22 vanaf het Centraal Station of met tram 3 vanaf het museumkwartier. Parkeren kan in de parkeergarage onder het Haarlemmerplein.

I hope stores like this will stay around for a very long time. A real asset to the Haarlemmerstraat, but also the city.

They directed me to a number of chess sets in my price range. Very good prices as well, much lower than I expected for the good quality of product. Also located near a very beautiful park, which is convenient for walking in nice weather. Would certainly go again in the future.

They included English instructions without being asked (THANKS!), plus they added lots of little puzzles and games to keep us busy. Each order has been handled promptly and carefully packed for shipping to the U.S. My books have arrived in great shape despite having arduous journeys, from the look of the outside of the packages. I really enjoyed browsing through the store and found a couple of items I thought were cool enough to buy as gifts.. Well worth stopping in to this place and checking out the variety of games and accessories available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice store with a fantastic selection of games. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The store offers games in Dutch and some in English. On sale are the most recent games (including Kickstarter releases) as well as all the classics (Chess, Go, Cribbage...) and games for the younger generations. Some fun puzzles (Rubik's cubes, V-cubes, jigsaw puzzles...) and toys are also sold here. This is my go-to FLGS since I was a student in Amsterdam (a long time ago...). Highly recommended!
