Via een advertentie heb ik, 4 jaar geleden, bij GlansGarant een schilders contract afgesloten. Schildersbedrijf Paauwe uit Serooskerke kwam langs om het werk te bekijken, te bespreken en om een offerte op te maken. Er werd verteld dat het een dure offerte werd vanwege het onderhoud aan de sierluiken, die zijn erg bewerkelijk. Ik ben helemaal niet tevreden over het geleverde schilder werk, de schilder is 4 juli j.l. geweest (zie foto’s van het resultaat nadat hij geweest is). Het eerste jaar (de renovatie) was ik redelijk tevreden, de jaren daarna was ik verbaasd over hoe het eraan toegaat. De schilder komt ’s avonds langs en binnen een uur heeft hij geïnspecteerd, geschuurd, gegrondverfd en afgelakt. De ramen boven en de dakranden inspecteerde hij nooit. Dit jaar heb ik gevraagd of hij de ramen boven wilde controleren, dat heeft hij dan via binnen gedaan. Ik vind dat ik wel erg veel geld betaal voor deze slechte service. Het contract heb ik intussen opgezegd. Schildersbedrijf Paauwe (ik heb hem dezelfde foto’s toegestuurd) zegt niets meer te kunnen doen omdat ik het contract heb opgezegd, hij was buitenspel gezet zei hij. Hij zei dat de sierluiken niet goed te krijgen zijn met schilderen, de scheuren zouden terug blijven komen want verf is geen lijm, volgens hem. Het kleurverschil van de verf dat kwam door de zon ook daar kon hij niets aan doen. De deur had hij wel kunnen repareren met “Repair Care” zei hij. Ik heb contact op genomen met het bedrijf “Repair Care” en de foto’s toegestuurd met de vraag of de sierluiken te herstellen zijn. Ik heb een hele duidelijke uitleg door de telefoon gekregen dat er wel degelijk middelen zijn om dit voorgoed te repareren en hoe je dat moet doen. Ik vroeg of dit lang goed bleef, het antwoord was dat de sierluiken het huis zouden overleven en dat het nooit meer zou scheuren. Schildersbedrijf Paauwe is dus bekend met het product “Repair Care” maar heeft verzaakt om in het eerste jaar de sierluiken daarmee te behandelen. GlansGarant heb ik ook de foto’s met mijn verhaal toegestuurd. Ik moest het met de schilder bespreken was hun reactie. GlansGarant belooft op hun website: -Jaar in jaar uit een perfect geschilderd huis. Perfect betekend volmaakt, zonder fouten. -Uw huis is altijd tiptop onderhouden. Tiptop betekend heel goed, uitstekend. -Optimaal onderhoud van uw geliefde huis. Optimaal betekend het beste. Schildersbedrijf Paauwe belooft op hun website: -Onze erkende schilders leveren prachtig binnen- en buiten schilderwerk. Prachtig betekend heel erg mooi, briljant. -U bent zo verzekerd van een duurzame oplossing en een mooi eindresultaat. Mooi betekend fraai, zeer goed. -Vanaf jaar 1 uw woning perfect in de verf. Perfect betekend volmaakt, zonder fouten. Helaas heb ik die ervaring niet met schildersbedrijf Paauwe.

Four years ago, I concluded a painting contract with GlansGarant via an advertisement. Painting company Paauwe from Serooskerke came by to view the work, to discuss it and to draw up a quotation. It was said that it was an expensive offer because of the maintenance of the decorative shutters, which are very laborious. I am not at all satisfied with the painting work delivered, the painter is July 4th. (see photos of the result after he has been). The first year (the renovation) I was reasonably satisfied, the following years I was amazed at how things are going. The painter comes by in the evening and within an hour he has inspected, sanded, primed and painted. He never inspected the windows above and the eaves. This year I asked if he wanted to check the windows upstairs, he did that through the inside. I think I pay a lot of money for this bad service. I have now canceled the contract. Painter company Paauwe (I have sent him the same photos) says it cannot do anything anymore because I have canceled the contract, he was sidelined, he said. He said that the decorative shutters were difficult to paint with, the cracks would keep coming back because paint is not glue, according to him. He couldn't do anything about the color difference of the paint that was caused by the sun. He could have repaired the door with “Repair Care” he said. I contacted the company “Repair Care” and sent the photos to ask if the decorative shutters can be repaired. I got a very clear explanation over the phone that there are indeed means to fix this for good and how to do it. I asked if this would last for a long time, the answer was that the decorative shutters would survive the house and it would never tear again. Painting company Paauwe is therefore familiar with the product “Repair Care”, but has failed to treat the decorative shutters with it in the first year. GlansGarant I also sent the photos with my story. I had to discuss it with the painter, was their reaction. GlansGarant promises on their website: -Year after year from a perfectly painted house. Perfect means perfect, without mistakes. -Your house is always in tip-top condition. Tiptop means very good, excellent. -Optimal maintenance of your beloved home. Optimal means the best. Painting company Paauwe promises on their website: -Our accredited painters deliver beautiful interior and exterior paintwork. Beautiful means very beautiful, brilliant. -You are thus assured of a sustainable solution and a beautiful end result. Beautiful means beautiful, very good. -From year 1 onwards, paint your home perfectly. Perfect means perfect, without mistakes. Unfortunately, I do not have that experience with painting company Paauwe.

Op en tot vakwerk! We bevelen schildersbedrijf Paauwe van harte aan. Goed en grondig advies gekregen over de mogelijkheden bij de offerte en persoonlijk gesprek. Paauwe pakt alles grondig aan voor een langdurig goed resultaat! Zeer vakbekwaam bedrijf waarbij de schilders zelf ook de lat hoog leggen, als een resultaat niet 100% naar hun zin is doen ze het over. Ze zijn duidelijk trots op het resultaat en terecht. Er werd snel geschakeld met het aannemersbedrijf bij stukken kozijn die vervangen moesten worden waardoor het werk geen vertraging op liep. Schilders en timmerlieden waren keurige en harde werkers die alles netjes opruimden, onze complimenten!

On and up to craftsmanship! We warmly recommend painting company Paauwe. Good and thorough advice about the possibilities with the quotation and personal interview. Paauwe tackles everything thoroughly for a long-lasting good result! Very professional company where the painters themselves also set the bar high, if a result is not 100% to their liking they do it again. They are clearly proud of the result and rightly so. There was a quick switch with the contracting company for pieces of frame that had to be replaced, so that the work was not delayed. Painters and carpenters were neat and hard workers who tidy everything up, our compliments!
