β β β β β Verkoopt goede spullen. Bediening zou soms wel iets vrolijker kunnen, maar je komt er voor de groenten. Kom er dus graag.
Sells good stuff. Service could sometimes be a bit more cheerful, but you come there for the vegetables. So please come there.

Those looking for really tasty vegetables and fresh fruit have come to the right place. Fruit Palace Schimmel has been a household name in Doorn for years. In this shop you can buy potatoes, vegetables and fruit, but also a ready-made meal or a nice fruit bowl.

β β β β β Schimmel heeft betere kwaliteit dan Albert Heijn in Doorn. Daarom op 1 juni 2013 speciaal ernaar toe gegaan. Ik kom als eerste in de winkel gevolgd door een koppel van man en vrouw. Het winkelmeisje vraagt tot mijn verbazing niet aan mij of ze me kan helpen maar aan de vrouw vh koppel. Ik pak zelf maar mijn spullen en sta bij de kassa om af te rekenen. Het meisje negeert dat en gaat afrekenen met de vrouw. Ik maak daar bezwaar tegen maar dit wordt genegeerd en het meisje begrijpt er klaarblijkelijk niets van dat ik verwacht te worden geholpen. Geen uitleg noch excuses.
Ik meen dat men geen inlevingsvermogen aanleert aan het personeel.
Dom, dom dom van haar. Ik zal nooit meer bij Schimmel komen.
Schimmel has better quality than Albert Heijn in Doorn. That is why we went there specially on 1 June 2013. I am the first in the store followed by a couple of men and women. To my surprise, the shopping girl does not ask me if she can help me but the couple's wife. I pick up my things myself and stand at the cash register to pay. The girl ignores that and settles the bill with the woman. I object to this but this is ignored and the girl apparently does not understand that I expect to be helped. No explanation nor apologies.
I believe that the staff does not teach empathy.
Stupid, stupid of her. I will never come to Schimmel again.
