Really amazing to have someone available at all times via phone / e-mail to help with any and all questions. Highly recommended! Great value as well compared to other moving company options my friends used (...and they ended up having lots of issues as well).

The communication with our personal move manager was clear and precise, and on the day of delivery the movers were friendly, competent and helpful. I would recommend Schmidt to people moving internationally.

Their poor communication will result in many unpleasant surprises that will ruin your experience like it did our experience. The good - packers were efficient, professional, and organized. Delivery of full container was made with friendly staff The bad - communication was poor with slow responsiveness at times. There were multiple financial surprises that added nearly 20% to the cost of the move. Delivery of a second, partial container was left on my front porch at a time when we were not home even though we specifically asked for the delivery to not be delivered in that short, 2 hour time frame. Update: don’t let the response from Schmidt fool you. While they are grateful for the feedback, they have not really reflected or acted on the concerns. They made up excuses for the issues in their service. They simply do not have visibility into the timing and cost of the moves they do for you. It sounds like there are cultural issues within Schmidt that prevent them from offering a good customer experience. It really is a pity.

Even though there is insurance coverage paid for the items, the compensation offered by the company is unrealistic and feels like they are just going through the motion to close another case, instead of really understanding the situation. Definitely would not recommend them. Had other damages before with other global relocation companies and they had good customer service and sense to understand the situation and offer a reasonable and amicable solution.

Everyone in the process was professional and responsive, and Daniela gave me regular updates even when timelines changed a bit. I will definitely hire them again for international moves in the future.
W	Wendy Wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moving Internationally for the first time can be stressful and overwhelming as it is, especially in Singapore a country with very strict restrictions in Covid time! BUT the team at Schmidt Relocations has been the best from the very start. They were absolutely great from the start when I requested information, to help me prepare for the move. They talked me through every step along the way, helped with all the paper works and getting through Singapore customs to arrive in my new apartment. The pick-up movers packed everything to perfection, didn't have to lift a finger. The local delivery movers were just as great and even helped us with assembling back the bed. I'm amazed how EVERYTHING arrived with no damage (I had quite some fragile items). The container shipment took some months to arrive, but in the meantime, we will receive weekly updates from our Schmidt agent Shanine on the shipments. Never once was I worried. Highly recommend Schmidt if you are looking for a trustworthy partner that knows exactly what they are doing. I had screened 3-4 other options, and Schmidt came out the best in terms of price-value. Definitely, my only pick if I intend to relocate again in the future!

The packing was done with care, dispatch of container done promptly, and we were kept informed of the tracking process. Clearance with customs was smooth , and delivery from arrival at port was done within 2 days, at exactly the time stipulated. I will recommend them to everyone who wants a stress free experience. Their movers were also extremely careful with my boxes and were accommodating far beyond expectation in their efforts to make sure I was happy with the delivery. I would recommend them highly. I have read horror stories from other people who have moved to another country using other companies, but my experience with Schmidt was first-rate.
