★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to have an absolutely adorable experience, make sure to visit this rehabilitation centre. The seals are very cute and the whole place is reconstructed, with a lot of information about their mission and what they do. Keep in mind that there are not many other things to do in Pieterburen, so a trip there would be mostly for the purposes of visiting this rehabilitation centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to visit and very helpfull staff. They were always ready to answer all our questions. There was lots of seals (60<) and very well looked after. The entrance fee goes to a good cause. Interesting watching the feeding time in the intensive care

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Baby seals! If you have the chance take the „behind the scene“ tour, also available in English!! Informative exhibition, screening of movies about the seal rescue & release and also a gift shop as well as a nice outside area with cafeteria, outside seating and play area for kids. Approximately 30 min drive from Groningen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing experience ♥️ the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and really care for the seals. You learn so much about them and their work - can only recommend!!! I don’t know why people here say it’s small. This place works on a donation-basis and for that the premise and facilities for the seals are huge. We watched seals being fed, one received medicine for an eye infection, and staff is super happy to answer questions and tell you more about the seals.
