★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to go to Senses for at least 6-7 years. Yesterday I had manicure there with Nadia and it was horrible: cuticles done sloppy, I have rough cut skin on all fingers. The polish technic is horrible: all my skin was red because they don’t know how to apply the gel.
Came home extremely disappointed. I don’t think it’s acceptable for a salon at this level/ price range.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to Sense Beauty to get a facial and Eyebrow waxing. It all started all right with a friendly staff but it all went wrong pretty quickly. The extraction part was extremely painful but the worst is that they tore my skin off during the waxing. I have a deep and visible forehead burn. The ''Beautician'' ignored it and did not mention it until after I paid. When calling back and even going back to the salon to ask what happened, I was said that it was my skin... I was offered another treatment but I obviously did not feel comfortable enough to go through anything again in that place, as I would hope to be able to trust my beautician not to strip pieces of my skin off. I am now waiting for my refund and an answer from the salon. This is unacceptable and very much my worst beautician experience in Amsterdam.
Update of the terrible customer service -
Offering me a partial refund saying that the burn will not leave a scar is unacceptable. You guys are liable for the injuries and emotional impact that your actions have on your clients. The pain and burnt you caused me cancels all the good a facial was supposed to give. You were supposed to provide with a better skin and a relaxing time, and all I got was an injured face and more stress. I have been pretty fair asking for a full refund and you have decided to ignore me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an amazing time at this salon. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we were extra well cared for. We both had the pedicure with gellac and were very happy with the result. The pedicure + massage was relaxing and the gellac stayed on for weeks. We will definitely return to have a pamper day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a facial with Denise today, my skin was in pretty bad condition as i had not had a treatment in a number of months. She gave my skin a really good deep cleanse, the extractions were quick and pain free considering the how dirty my skin was. I had a lovely massage while the mask was on, highly recommend Denise and the Salon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They asked 19 euro for nailpolish only for an 6 year old!!!?. Just 8 nails(the other 2 she sucks in). No nothing, just regular polish.The girl who helped us insisted it was oke to give a 6 year old gellac!! Its not bad fo her nails. My friend and i booked 2 gellac polish for ourselves. The polish was bad quality, she needed 3 layers for my nails. The price is too much, €25 gellac only. The choice of nailpolish is not that great. The pricing for 8 nails of an 6 year old was waaay too much.We are never coming back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is lovely and central, I had a lovely young woman taking care of me but I feel like it is not as high end and amazing as what we read on the Internet. It is nice but not exceptional. However, I will happily go back for my brows.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mum just came back from her essential manicure with normal nail polish and as you can see the result is rather disappointing.
The cuticle was not properly removed, they didn’t use any oil or cuticle remover so it was painful.
The nude nail polish was applied with stripes on it because the layer were not fully dry and also not properly put on top of each other as you can see on the picture.
A supervisor came by and try to correct the mistake but the still the end result is not satisfying at all.
