Not worth the drive. The place is well cared for, but the bunkers are barely visible and bricked up.

Not long enough to get a good impression of it, but the location is great. Free parking and beautiful surroundings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk om dit tamelijk onbekende onderdeel van de Stelling van Amsterdam te zien. Ik ben zo vaak langs deze plek gereden en heb dit nooit geweten. Het zou leuk zijn als de bunkers en de contouren van het Fort bij Heemstede in de toekomst iets meer zichtbaar worden gemaakt.
Nice to see this relatively unknown part of the Defense Line of Amsterdam. I have driven past this place so many times and never knew this. It would be nice if the bunkers and the contours of the Fort at Heemstede were made more visible in the future.
