★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima zaak voor de Arabische, Mediterrane of meer tropische keuken. Aardige eigenaar. Fijn dat 't bij ons om de hoek is. De locatie staat wel net verkeerd op Google maps: de zaak zit direct naast de Jumbo.
 Great case for Arab, Mediterranean or more tropical cuisine. Nice owner. Glad it's around the corner from us. The location is just wrong on Google maps: the case is right next to the Jumbo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deze winkel verkoopt 'omrij-kip'. we gaan speciaal naar Shaam supermarkt voor de halal kip. Super smakelijk!! Héél anders dan de plofkip van de andere supermarkten...en nog goedkoop ook.
Overigens ben ik onder de indruk van de heerlijke en goedkope kruiden.
This store sells 'detour chicken'. we go specially to Shaam supermarket for the halal chicken. Super tasty !! Very different from the broiler chicken of the other supermarkets ... and cheap too.
I am impressed by the delicious and cheap herbs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice new Arab shop run by very friendly and hard working people from Damascus. Fresh produce like vegetables and fruits as well as many products from the different Mediteranean countries. Good addition to the supply from the two western supermarkets on the Nederlandplein.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought date fruits in a box. I went back to home and saw that flies and worms in it. I returned back to shop. Wise man told me that since the box is already open he can not take it back. I am thankful to him because he did not told me to bring my special glasses that one can see the inside of boxes. Don't merchandise with a seller who can not stand still in front of his goods.
