β β β β β Information centre for the new sea lock on the North Sea Cannal in IJmuiden. From the roof top one gets a great view also the Hoogovens TATA steel factory.

β β β β β Surprisingly interesting tour about the biggest sluice in the world and the building thereof. The tour guy was very humorous and did great. Additionally the restaurant had a nice assortment of drinks and snacks (with some good teas which is a plus for me) and a good view of the area. Talking about views, the terrace (although very windy) had a great view of the North-canal and the Northern Sea.
