★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Because Meerzicht itself is not that big, it's not weird the mall is a little small. Which is a unfortunate. BUT, it has stores that we use everyday, meaning the necessary stores.
Besides it is very well placed. It's directly by the tram and there is also a pharmacy around. Meerzicht Mall is a sure a place worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An efficicient mall offerring the most important supplies you need, I love the fact that the jumbo supermarket is open until 22:00, so I can get something urgent very quickly when it's almost night. The only thing I 'miss' in the mall is a good quality clothing shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am just so happy that in the Netherlands the grocery stores and shops are so close. Compared to suburban Canada where you have to walk 5km to do your grocery shopping, this is paradise (albeit a bit of a drab paradise). The bakery (Jongerius) is fantastic and I was very pleased when they added a Kruidvat drugstore where you can find just about anything. The stationary store is great for picking up the occasional card and office supplies. Where possible I try to support the local, independent shop owners too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shops are very close to the tram train station (Line 3), within a walking distance (I would say around 150m). They offer various items, like daily grocery, flowers, bread, and even there is one Indonesian restaurant over there (Ondel-Ondel). Parking lot is also available just outside the shopping center area. There is also an elevator to go up and down at the tram station.
