★ ★ ★ ★ ★ UPDATE: Kjell heeft nadien telefonisch contact met mij opgenomen en excuses aangeboden voor de gang van zaken. Daarnaast zijn er intern verbeterpunten inzake de communicatie vastgesteld om te voorkomen dat een dergelijke situatie zich herhaalt. Het is spijtig dat het fout is gegaan bij het maken van de boeking, maar het siert Kjell dat er oprechte excuses zijn aangeboden. Wie weet geef ik het hierdoor in de toekomst nog een tweede poging.

Contact gehad met Kjell. Eerste indruk, vriendelijke kerel. Bij het boeken van de band kwam er echter weinig beweging. Volgens Kjell was het management bezig met een andere boeking op die datum en kwam er weinig beweging in. Daarbij heb ik Kjell niet als heel pro-actief ervaren. Het initiatief voor updates lag in 4 van de 5 gevallen bij mij. Uiteindelijk zelf maar contact opgenomen met het management van de band. Vreemd genoeg waren zij niet bekend met een andere boeking en kon ik de boeking nog dezelfde dag rond maken. Volgende keer dus niet meer via Showbird.
UPDATE: Kjell contacted me by phone afterwards and apologized for the course of events. In addition, internal points for improvement with regard to communication have been identified to prevent such a situation from happening again. We're sorry there was an error making the booking, but it's to Kjell's credit that a sincere apology has been offered. Who knows, maybe I'll give it a second try in the future.

Contacted Kjell. First impression, friendly guy. When booking the band, however, there was little movement. According to Kjell, management was busy with another booking on that date and there was little movement. In addition, I did not experience Kjell as very proactive. The initiative for updates was with me in 4 out of 5 cases. In the end I contacted the management of the band myself. Strangely enough, they were not aware of another booking and I was able to complete the booking the same day. So next time no more via Showbird.
