Nice little chapel in a nice little village with a small castle and lots of opportunities to hike.

The murals inside are exceptional. Guided tours with explanations are recommended.

Het oudste van Nederland.
Met moderne muurschilderingen van Hans Truijen.
In de fundamenten zijn sporen uit de Karolingische tijd gevonden. Wellicht liet Keizer Karel de Grote het zelf bouwen als Jachtkapel!

Traces from the Carolingian period have been found in the foundations. Perhaps Emperor Charlemagne had it built as a Hunting Chapel!

From the outside a normal chapel but from the inside a work of art. With the additional explanation about this yes you appreciate it even more
