J	June Koster on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous hiking trails which are all well marked. Plus there is the layout of a former Roman villa which is very interesting. It is easy to get to the Roman ruins but be prepared to hike if you are going much further than the ruins. It is well worth doing. If you take the white loop you get to the top of the mountain and have great views of Germany!

The land was shaped during the last ice age, and it still shows: steep ridges providing panoramic views, where the river Meuse once undercut the ridges formed by the pushing of the land ice. In between the hills, there is a valley with smoother slopes where the debris from the creeping ice washed down the hills, depositing gradually. Hills clad with wood, valleys dotted with farmsteads. And there's a 18th century watermill tucked away in the forest!
