★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With my children. Inside the train. A man just told us shshshshshs!! Silence and move for another carriage as you are not allowed to speak in this carriage. My daughter just asked for a milk at 6.21 a.m.!!! Honestly??? Really??? She is 3 years old ok.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Train station connecting Heerlen en Maastricht in the south of Limburg province with other parts of the country. Serviced by railway companies NS as well as Arriva. Few small shops at the entrance of the station but with an AH supermarket near at about 5 minutes walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's another one of those stations with a single long island platform split up into sections. Fortunately with better train times compared to some other stations with the same layout. Step free access is provided by lifts and there are a decent amount of intercity and local train services stopping here.
There's also a freight yard to the side of the station, which is nice if you like watching trains shunting.
