Sad they didn't have it in smaller stone bottles. We saw others getting more of an explanation on their tastings which would have been nice but I think the one helping us was trying to get off duty so was in a bit of a hurry. The rest of the staff was nice and helpful. Worth a visit if you are visiting.

The samples were numerous and well selected. We sat in the beautiful back garden which is enchanting, having a wonderful secret garden feel to it. And the shop itself immediately transports you back in time from the moment you step in. If you have the chance to do this place, do it, you won't regret it!

I met the owner of the place who was kind to explain to me the history behind this distillery which was one of 14 distilleries in Den Haag center, however today it's the only one remaining. The place is very interesting, and has a historic depth. I had the opportunity to learn few things today about the history of Den Haag through my visit to this distillery. The garden in the back is lovely and relaxing, and you may come across "kit" or "kat" whom are two chubby friendly cats.
