★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Main terminus in Amsterdam but it has a very confusing layout. Back side and front side are not well connected and one has to climb stairs. The escalators and elevators are often out of service. Not all restaurants and eateries are open during peak hours. Not really an ideal place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great. Easy to navigate, I just did it wrong. I was supposed to be at Central, so it's my fault that it went badly. The staff were all helpful and tried their best to assist me, but there was nothing they could do. No qualms with dealing with any of them again. All thumbs up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its definitely a good station to have nearby. I happen to live 5 minutes on bike from there and it has been very helpful. Its not as crowded as central or amstel but has almost as many destinations and can always connect with the main stations of Amsterdam and the Netherlands in general. There are 2 big parkings for bicycles, one under a bridge(roof) and one out in the open near the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a nice train station by Dutch standards, great big Starbucks and a handy express supermarket. It’s weird that two platforms are outside the station and down the road. (Platforms 9 & 10) there’s a huge bus plaza out the back.
