Midden in het tuinbouwgebied van Someren ligt Klein Costa Rica, de meest bijzondere tropische vlindertuin van Brabant. Hier beleeft u de wondere schoonheid van de tropen op meer dan 880m2. In de tuin groeien tropische bomen en planten. Ook leven er vele vlinders maar ook reptielen, vogels, vissen en schildpadden. U waant zich in de tropen, waarbij u kunt genieten van aangename temperaturen. Geschikt voor ieder weertype en leuk om met uw kinderen naartoe te gaan. Uw uitje bij Klein Costa Rica is een prima ochtend of middag invulling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a cosy place, not so busy, but a lot of interesting to see and to admire???????. Well too small to fulfill a day, but with some nice dinner at @dehoijsehoeve our day was very satisfying!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cozy little butterfly garden with some other exotic animals. Kids are really enjoying it here. Lots to see... 2 areas, you can clim up some stairs too to see it from above. A little restaurant/ bar at the entrance for little snacks and drinks. Public transport (bus ) can reach it but the last 20 min. You have to walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little (no, srsly it's really tiny) tropical zoo... I liked the cocoon cabinet. Keep an eye on the little ones because there is no railing next to their fish pond. Other than that, it's great.

There are two areas, one for butterflies and one for birds. Children get a flyer on which all animals are shown, to see if they spotted them all.
There's also iguana's and lots of fish, which you can also see under water.
We spend around two hours inside and the kids really enjoyed themselves.
There's a high rope bridge, which was a little too much for our youngest (4 years old).
