Quite a ways away from the city center of Utrecht along the Amsterdamsestraatweg in the direction of Maarsen you will find one of the rare armydump stores still left in the country. While common in the past, many have closed since military draft was abolished in the Netherlands, leading to a sharp decline in availability of second hand military goods. For this reason many of the military outfits sold in this shop are brand new, but you will find vintage militaria as well. I myself have purchased Dutch army shirts from the 60's and 70's here, but I've also found military clothing from the 50's as well as army bags and other materials from the 1940's. Generally a good shop for rugged outdoorwear and hunting supplies, as well as weapons. Prices are fair.

I went to see my mum and dad there and wanted to buy a product again that I had bought there years ago and that I loved. But sadly the product doesn't get manufactured anymore. Still, it was so cool to pop in after all these years. And very helpful shop assistants.

Also great for buying quality but not too expensive knives, they have a lot of different styles so you probably will find something you want. You can also buy other things here, like airport guns or around new year some firework.
