★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve studied with Francesc for almost 3 years, and I can’t recommend him enough.
Throughout the time I’ve studied with him, Spanish lessons were always something I was looking forward to. The classes were fun and well thought out, and the books and additional materials were appropriate (no endless repetitive boring exercises). He is also really good at identifying the weaknesses of a student and setting realistic goals and study plans accordingly.
Since Francesc is a native speaker, he was able to teach me the Spanish people actually speak, phrases and words that are commonly used. My writing has improved a lot, and I’m definitely able to produce more advanced and well-structured essays in Spanish now. I would 100% recommend Francesc as a teacher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For the last 1,5 years I have had lessons from Francesc, and I absolutely have to say his way of teaching is effective and tailor made! After 1.5 years I am able to perfectly speak with my Spanish family in law and can independently communicate in Spanish, a result which I had never expected to happen in such a relatively short timeframe. Francesc speaks normally in Spanish during the classes, to ensure the learning curve is steep, but explains very well in English if and where needed. According to your preference Francesc focuses more on the actual speaking or more on grammatical topics and your vocabulary. Homework normally consists of reading articles and completing grammatical exercises. In summary: if you want to really improve your Spanish and want to have someone who challenges you to get the most out of it, Francesc is the ideal teacher.
