Very handy shop, about the only one open in the evening in the center. Not top prices, but still recommended for food and drinks.

Ideaal voor iedereen die graag rustig boodschappen doet en een hekel heeft aan drukke supermarkten. Ook zeker aanrader voor mindervaliden. Prijs hier en daar iets hoger dan bij sommige andere supermarkten maar dat is het waard gezien de voordelen. Small but spacious. Clear. Everything you need is there. Ideal for anyone who likes to shop quietly and hates busy supermarkets. Also highly recommended for disabled people. Price slightly higher here and there than at some other supermarkets but that's worth it given the benefits.
G	Gina Doorenbosch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een hele fijne winkel en dat midden in het centrum van Middelburg. Het moderniseert de stad, heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en is meer dan een ‘to-go’. Wat deze Spar nog fijner maakt, zijn de mensen die er werken. Vast en leuk personeel die je al snel herkennen (en onthouden) wat het al snel persoonlijk maakt. Al bij al een enorme aanwinst voor de stad en de binnenstad bewoners. Ik ben er blij mee. A very nice shop, right in the center of Middelburg. It modernizes the city, has everything you need and is more than a "to-go". What makes this Spar even better are the people who work there. Permanent and nice staff who quickly recognize (and remember) you, which quickly makes it personal. All in all, a huge asset to the city and the inner city residents. I'm happy with it.

Aller eerst is dit natuurlijk onacceptabele verspilling die niet meer van deze tijd is. Er zijn tegenwoordig genoeg initiatieven waar men eten uit supermarkten kan laten ophalen. Ten tweede is het bizar dat er eten wordt weggegooid ver voordat de winkel sluit. Ik hoop dat de Spar hier per direct iets aan gaat doen. Gênante vertoning. I came to buy a cheese sandwich a half hour before closing time. The employee told me that they had already thrown away all the sandwiches. First of all, this is of course unacceptable waste that is no longer of this time. Nowadays there are plenty of initiatives where people can collect food from supermarkets. Second, it's bizarre that food is thrown away long before the store closes. I hope that the Spar will do something about this immediately. Embarrassing display.
