★ ★ ★ ★ ★ earlier went to the atm and withdrew 20euro for food for the day (visiting amsterdam) went into the store and brought a coffee.. the lady at the counter asked if i had anything smaller to which i replied 'no im sorry, i just got it out the atm'. She then frowned at me and gave a funny look to woman behind me... handing me back my change she told me 'next time bring smalller' while scowling at me and shoving my change into my hand! it was laughable! if your a tourist visiting wish cash go to albert heijn just around the corner! they appreciate your money!

I would like to file a complaint regarding your employees at spar, Rapenburg 91, 1011 TW Amsterdam, Netherlands regarding incident which happened at 17:50 on 12th of August.
I was there to send 5 boxes at 17:50.
There was a male employee receiving a box who was standing in front of me already when I entered.
At some point, a femal employee at the cashline screamed at me "we can't accept your packages. You should come back tomorrow. We are closing".
I asked the male employee "can't you really take these?" He said "No."
It was still 10 min before the store close.
If you can't accept packages, why do you even put a opening time "until 18:00"?
On the post nl website, it also says it's open till 18:00.
I'm so sick of this laziness and rudeness of customer service in general.
How do you train your employees?
If they can't be happy to help their customers, what is the point?
The femal employee said "I should come back tomorrow" with this 5 boxes.
How realistic is that?
I would like to have appropriate explanation why they refused my packages.

Being 8 1/2 months pregnant (and I had already been to Albert Hein where it was sold out), I politely called in my best Dutch to ask if they had powder sugar/gepoederde suiker and the person said to come into the store and look myself because he was outside and then he rudely hung up on me. Wow merry Christmas to you to sir!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenience mini market, ideal to buy snacks and home refills. They also work as postoffice. Have all the basic things you will need on a daily basis, however, this is not the place to do your weekly shopping.
