M	Marjolein Traa on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Op de website stond dat het museum zaterdag vanaf 10 tot 17 uur geopend zou zijn. Toen wij hier vandaag aan kwamen bleek het spelebos echter gesloten. Iemand vertelde ons dat het spelebos alleen in 'het seizoen' open was. Wat 'het seizoen' is wist diegene niet. Op de website is hier ook niks over te vinden. Erg jammer! The website said that the museum would be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. When we arrived here today, the game forest turned out to be closed. Someone told us that the game forest was only open in 'the season'. What 'the season' is, he didn't know. There is nothing about this on the website either. Pity!

Het is een mooi kleinschalig museum, met een uitgebreide collectie speelgoed uit vervlogen tijden. Het gehele museum is op een speelse wijze ingericht met grote vitrines en grote bordspelen die daadwerkelijk gespeeld kunnen worden. Toy museum game forest. Located on the former military site, behind Boshuys. It is a beautiful small-scale museum, with an extensive collection of toys from days gone by. The entire museum is decorated in a playful way with large display cases and large board games that can actually be played.
H	Henriette Jorritsma on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Er was niemand aanwezig en geen kachel aan dus kouder dan buiten. Leuk museum maar heeft opknapbeurt nodig. There was no one present and no heater on so colder than outside. Nice museum but needs refurbishment.
M	Mirjam Oldenhof on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wat een bijzondere situatie. Dit is echt vergane glorie/ gemiste kans. De collectie is op zich redelijk maar het is zo koud binnen. Er was ook werkelijk niemand in het gebouw. We moesten ergens anders betalen en ergens achterop het terein was het museum te vinden. De kinderen vonden de spellen en de lachspiegels leuk. Wij hadden een bon uit de postcode loterij agenda. Hierdoor was de entree 5,25 per persoon. Zelfs dit was het niet waard. What a special situation. This is really faded glory/missed opportunity. The collection itself is reasonable but it is so cold inside. There was really no one in the building. We had to pay elsewhere and somewhere at the back of the site was the museum. The kids liked the games and the distorting mirrors. We had a voucher from the postcode lottery agenda. As a result, the entrance fee was 5.25 per person. Even this was not worth it.
F	Frank van de Ven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Als je geniet van bedompte, donkere ruimtes met oude meuk (speelgoed uit het jaar kruik dat slecht geconserveerd is), een kakafonie van geluid (intro's van oude tv-shows door elkaar) en onopgeruimde troep (ik zag een verlaten ladder en een huishoudtrap slingeren) dan is dit je ding! Dit speelgoedmuseum is slecht onderhouden. Er staan spullen in die niets met speelgoed te maken hebben (verzameling zelfgemaakte kermisminiaturen) en het is binnen steenkoud. Kinderen kunnen in oude, afgedankte voertuigen zitten en op knoppen drukken, waarna een lampje aangaat. Dit is een amateuristisch geheel dat de naam museum niet waard is. Voor een entreeprijs van 7 euro vind ik het schandalig. Jammer! Het personeel is namelijk heel vriendelijk. Het is echt zonde, omdat de uitstraling van het museum juist heel uitnodigend is (leuke illustraties en felle kleuren). Ook de ontvangsthal oogt knus. Helaas laat het museum zelf nogal wat te wensen over. Met meer informatie en context (nu worden teddyberen en robots achter een glasplaat gepropt en dat moet dan wat voorstellen) had dit meer impact gehad. Nu is het zonde van het geld. Dit is een amateurverzameling en geen museum. De entreeprijs is veel te hoog. Een tariefwijziging en grondige renovatie zijn zeer gewenst! If you enjoy stuffy, dark rooms with old junk (toys from the vintage jug that is badly preserved), a cacophony of sound (intros to old TV shows mixed up) and cluttered mess (I saw an abandoned ladder and a household staircase swinging ) then this is your thing! This toy museum is poorly maintained. It contains stuff that has nothing to do with toys (collection of homemade fairground miniatures) and it is freezing cold inside. Children can sit in old, discarded vehicles and press buttons, after which a light comes on. This is an amateurish whole that is not worthy of the name museum. For an entrance fee of 7 euros, I think it's outrageous. Too bad! The staff is very friendly. It is a real shame, because the appearance of the museum is very inviting (nice illustrations and bright colours). The reception hall also looks cozy. Unfortunately, the museum itself leaves a lot to be desired. With more information and context (now teddy bears and robots are crammed behind a glass plate and that must mean something) this would have had more impact. Now it's a waste of money. This is an amateur collection and not a museum. The entrance fee is way too high. A rate change and thorough renovation are highly desirable!
