★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the website of the hospital it says clearly that you can and may record your visit to the doctor. The dental surgeon however refused this, but promised I would get an account fo the conversation we had. He did write a note for a dentist, although I made it clear didn't have one. This note in no way reflects the conversation we had, and is writen in incrompehensable language.
I complained about this at the hospital complaints persons. She offered me a chance to pay for another visit, which I would again not be able to record and not get the promised report from.
I have again asked in writing for this report, but after several months still didn't get one.
In short: the hospital promises useable information for patients, but do not provide this. All I am left with is the gest of the conversation as I remembered it. I don't expect the dental surgeon to take responsability for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best medical experience in the NL, doctor was very careful, respectful and mostly solved in 2 visits a problem that other 2 hospital couldn't solve in 3,5 years.
Make yourself a favour, chose this hospital!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 3 year old son broke his arm and we were at St Antonius at 8pm. We left the hospital at 12.30am; 4 1/2 hours to get the cast on; that included filling some docs at the reception, seeing an assistant doctor, then a doctor, 1st X-ray, seeing a doctor, 2nd X-ray, seeing a doctor, cast on, 3rd X-ray, seeing the doctor. The problem was the waiting time, my son was on me extremely tired, falling asleep and crying from pain, my arms were dead from carrying him for that long. The staff were professional and friendly especially dr Rose and the staff that took the X-ray and put the cast on. The toilet was quite dirty with pee on the floor and the seat which made it difficult to take my son in as you can imagine.
The time management of the hospital is poor, and if that wasn’t the case I would have given them a higher ranking due to the staff expertise, friendliness and professionalism. if you have an emergency, consider twice going for there. And btw I wasn’t the only one waiting, others were too. My only surprise is that were less than 5 patients waiting to be served; maybe the ambulances created more traffic in but I couldn’t tell. Anyway, I wouldn’t go there again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gosh what can I say.
It's terrible enough to have to visit the hospital due to illness or emergency, but being "looked after" by a hospital that doesn't care just sucks. "Go home and if you have any questions, call us" - terrible mistake, don't go home until you get everything figured out, especially concerning after care, next-steps and costs. Because if you call, you'll be redirected 5 times or more and end up speaking to the same person. They don't care about you, your question, and they definitely wouldn't want to waste time explaining how any procedure goes exactly, whenever I bring up the confusion, they love to say "I don't know about that". Stand in the shoes of the patient please, it is completely human to need to ask questions.
While I'm being treated, no one has any idea about the costs of anything and didn't bother to help find out, is it really that weird to ask about the price?! I understand I need to figure things out with my insurance company but after I find out what exactly to ask (to make it easy for them), they still don't want to help! Just like my calls they will ask you to ask another department and that other department directs me back to this department, it's a mess. I don't mind being redirected, but at least send me to a right person to ask!
Also there will be almost no chance to ever speak to the same doctor who treated you in the first place. You call, "why do you want to speak with him", you'll get redirected, "I don't know", "you'll have to ask them tomorrow", you get the idea.
I feel like everyone is avoiding my questions, on the phone they sounded annoyed so none of the calling experience had been helpful. They also get impatient very easily...
Gonna stop my rant here. Just a side note, the people in the Gips department are nice and I'm sure the people who work in this hospital don't mean bad, but you really need to improve your overall customer/patient service, because it is terrible. I mean, look at the feedbacks here and really listen to those who has visited your hospital, gotta do something about it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waiting time very long;
Had to have (and pay for) two ultra sound appointments with Radiology, due to unclarity of the procedure; They didn’t explain how the procedure goes exactly so caused lots of confusion for me;
Radiologist and two assistants had no idea about the costs of anything also didn’t bother to help find out, told me if I am not sure, go home, call insurance company, schedule another appointment (is it that weird that a patient asks about price?)
Radiologist got very impatient when I asked questions about the procedure and costs (care to show some helpful attitude?)
In general, I feel they are doing things in a hurry, quite operational but don’t bother to explain too much - but as a patient I don’t find that helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a visit for an echo with gynecologist.
Had to wait over half hour so the doctor could eat lunch together with her friend in the examination room.
When I finally got in, I was banned from the right of asking any questions, because the house doctor scheduled me only for an echo and not a examination… also the doctor said: well, the echo you got - anyone could do that…
So I’ve asked her: You’re not a gynecologist?
She said: Yes, but you would have to be a registered patient to have a conversation with me.
Then this woman stood up and opened the door.
It was utterly unpleasant and old quite scary, being in front of the doctor of specialty that concerns one’s health and being basically kicked out for asking too many questions (I managed to articulate one, the answer I got was: I don’t know)
Terrible experience and considering the fact that in Holland there is no private practice I must state that it’s scary to get sick here.
