★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Volksopera "Veendammer Wind" was krachtig en fabelachtig. Veendam is ineens het Verona van Oostgroningen geworden. Men kan alleen maar jubelen en juichen over deze mooiegheid.
The Volksopera "Veendammer Wind" was powerful and fabulous. Veendam has suddenly become the Verona of Eastern Groningen. One can only shout and cheer about this beauty.

Het wordt wederom gebruikt, nu door Veendam 1894.
Het stadion maakt een belangrijk deel uit van het Sport- en Leerpark samen met de Winkler Prins Schoolgemeenschap en diverse andere gebruikers, zoals de wielervereniging (er is ook een top wielerbaan aangelegd), judo school en diverse andere sport gerelateerde bedrijven en instellingen. Ook is er de grootste Skills Garden van Europa aangelegd.
Legendary stadium with an eventful history.
It is used again, now by Veendam 1894.
The stadium is an important part of the Sports and Learning Park, together with the Winkler Prins School community and various other users, such as the cycling association (a top cycling track has also been constructed), judo school and various other sport-related companies and institutions. The largest Skills Garden in Europe has also been created.
