β β β β β Was leuk aan de overkant van het Raadhuis stonden een paar tentjes voor de Haring en Bierloop .daar schelvispekelijsje gegeten apart.met het heel veel mensen .drukke boel.
Was nice on the other side of the town hall stood a few tents for the Herring and Beer Run. Haddock brine eaten separately. With a lot of people. Busy stuff.

β β β β β Dit mooie monumentale gebouw heeft in de periode van 1905 tot en met 1941 dienst gedaan als raadhuis van de toenmalige Gemeente Vlaardinger-Ambacht. In het jaar 1941 werden de Gemeente Vlaardingen en de Gemeente Vlaardinger-Ambacht samengevoegd. Sinds 1948 is hier o.a. het stadsarchief gevestigd.
This beautiful monumental building served as the town hall of the then Municipality of Vlaardinger-Ambacht in the period from 1905 to 1941. In 1941, the Municipality of Vlaardingen and the Municipality of Vlaardinger-Ambacht were merged. The city archive has been located here since 1948.
