Het is net voor etenstijd en qua drukte valt het mee. Wij kunnen ons echter voorstellen dat het hier, rond de middag of tegen de tijd dat de meeste mensen mensen eten, behoorlijk druk kan zijn. ’s Zomers kan er hier ook ijs gekocht worden, lazen wij tijdens ons vooronderzoek. De friture beschikt naast de normale ‘balie’ ook over een automatiek, deze is vanaf de straat te gebruiken. Er wordt gekozen om de bestelling mee te nemen, deze bestaat uit een friet curry, een kipcorn en kroket. De vriendelijke medewerker die onze bestelling opneemt bedient tussendoor een paar klanten op het overdekte terras. De bestelling is snel klaar. Tijdens het testen vallen de frietjes in de smaak. Niet alleen zijn ze goed krokant, ze zijn ook prima van smaak. Daarnaast is het een vrij grote portie, fijn bij een hongerige maag. De kipcorn is matig van smaak, de smaak is apart. We kunnen niet precies duiden waardoor. De kroket daarentegen is goed gevuld qua vlees en gooit hoge ogen. Al met al een ruime voldoende. It is decided to take the order with you, it consists of a fries curry, a chickencorn and a croquette. The friendly employee who takes our order serves a few customers on the covered terrace. The order is ready quickly. The fries are popular during testing. Not only are they good crispy, they are also good in taste. In addition, it is a fairly large portion, great for a hungry stomach. The chicken corn has a moderate taste, the taste is separate. We cannot pinpoint exactly why. The croquette, on the other hand, is well filled in terms of meat and is very successful. All in all, more than sufficient.
