Echt een aanrader. Voordat je van plan bent om naar die hele grote commerciële te gaan, ga dan eerst eens hier langs. Word je gelukkig van. Lovely old city garden where you can wander for hours. The most beautiful plants and an enormous diversity. Very sweet and competent staff who like to think along with you. Really recommended. Before you plan to go to that very big commercial, check this one out first. Make you happy.

And it is very nicely situated in the center of Zaltbommel.

B	Bommelerhoeve van Poederoijen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Stadskwekerij in Zaltbommel is een Locus Amoenus op fietsafstand van de Bommelerhoeve. Het is een oase van rust in de stad. Je stapt uit de hectiek van alledag zomaar een andere wereld in. Hier kun je heerlijk rondsnuffelen tussen de vele kruidenplantjes, het grote assortiment rozen en andere bloeiende planten. Ook worden leuke tuindingetjes verkocht, zoals vogelbadjes en potten. En als je niks koopt maar gewoon een kijkje wilt nemen is dat ook helemaal prima. The City Nursery in Zaltbommel is a Locus Amoenus within cycling distance of the Bommelerhoeve. It is an oasis of peace in the city. You step out of the hectic everyday life into another world just like that. Here you can enjoy browsing among the many herb plants, the large assortment of roses and other flowering plants. Nice garden things are also sold, such as bird baths and pots. And if you don't buy anything but just want to take a look, that's fine too.

It's a beautiful, quiet, lush nook of calm in an otherwise bustling little town. It's larger than it appears at first glance with extensive gardens at the back against the old city walls and a small grass field where we had our yoga class. Whatever you're there for, take a moment to walk around and breathe in the atmosphere, the place is a gem.
