Stance zet me in beweging door een rustige start dmv een meditatie en een creatieve opdracht. Vandaaruit ga ik aan de slag. Je kunt heel onderzoekend werken en dat stimuleert Stance ook. Ik werk graag met verschillende materialen: inkt, potlood, houtskool etc. Die paar uur in de week voor jezelf zijn echt aan te raden. I have been drawing and painting at Stance since 2009. Every autumn when we start fresh, new ideas arise. Stance sets me in motion by a calm start through a meditation and a creative assignment. From there I will get to work. You can work in a very investigative way and that also stimulates Stance. I like to work with different materials: ink, pencil, charcoal etc. Those few hours a week for yourself are really advisable.

Wat ik bijzonder goed vind is de plek (een zeer warme en inspirerende atelier aan het eind van het tuin), het kwartier -20 min. meditatie aan het begin van de les is ook heel fijn en zorgt voor rust, stilte naar een druke dag op het werk en is vooral een bron van inspiratie voor de rest van de cursus, de diversiteit van het materiaal dat Stance je ter beschikking stelt is ook handig, de vrijheid die Stance biedt tijdens de cursus outvouwt en stimuleert mijn creativiteit. En natuurlijk Stance is er tijdens de cursus om advies te geven en ook te inspireren.. Ik vind ook het einde van de les altijd gezellig en fijn, waarin iedereen zijn werk laat zien, evalueert en zo nodig uitlegt. Een inspirerende plek en persoon. Stance spreekt ook meerdere talen.
