★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hier staat het beeld van Sjtadsvastelaovesvereniging D’n Uul. De Roermondse carnavalsvereniging is opgericht in 1936, al is er ook ver vóór die datum een geschiedenis terug te vinden met onder andere een sociëteit en ‘herenvereniging’ (pieproukersclub).
Tegenwoordig is D’n Uul een grote en actieve carnavalsvereniging met onder andere een dagelijks en algemeen bestuur. De sjtadsvastelaovesvereniging zet zich onder andere in voor het behoud van de Roermondse cultuur waarbij de vastelaovend het voornaamste is.
Het standbeeld van deze actieve sjtadsvastelaovesvereniging staat in het hart van de stad: midden op het historische Munsterplein.
