About Star Clinic Veterinarians Hilversum
April 2013 hebben wij de praktijk aan de Floris Vosstraat 1 overgenomen van dierenarts Floor, die na 23 jaar besloot zijn stethoscoop aan de wilgen te hangen.
De eerste periode hielden we praktijk in één ruimte. We hadden zelfs even de wachtkamer buiten onder een afdakje! Dit alles om ruim baan te geven aan een fikse verbouwing. Het was flink improviseren, maar met wat kunst- en vliegwerk hebben we ons aardig door die periode kunnen slaan.

Nice and patient staff. Also very nice all those picture frames on the wall with pictures of the animals that come there.

Ineens ging het snel. Afgelopen vrijdag zijn we met onze Morris naar de dierenarts gegaan, de pijnstilling werkte niet meer. We zagen hem leiden. Uitgebreid heeft de dokter uitleg gegeven over de mogelijkheden, maar ook dat we ons wel moesten gaan voorbereiden. We hebben hele sterke pijnstilling meegekregen. Dat maakte hem wel rustiger, maar we zagen dat hij last had. Een weekend volgde en we zagen onze Morris worstelen: hij kon geen goede houding vinding. We hebben hem vertroeteld. Op maandag hebben wij hem zijn rust gegund, geen pijn meer. De arts en de assistenten waren super lief naar Morris, maar ook naar ons. Alle tijd werd ons gegeven. Morris heeft een waardig afscheid gekregen mede dankzij deze geweldig lieve mensen. Dank jullie wel!

Wat een lieve dierenartsen en assistenten. We zijn nu een paar keer met onze oude Morris hier geweest en zij zijn oprecht geïnteresseerd en doen wat ze kunnen en geven goed advies wat vervelend was voor Morris praten ze lief tegen hem en proberen het beestje op zijn gemak te stellen.
Ze zijn ook duidelijk. Ze geven aan wat eventuele vervolgstappen zijn. Zo kun je als baasje je ook al wat gaan voorbereiden.
Qua prijzen zijn ze reëel en voeren geen onderzoeken uit omdat dat inkomsten oplevert.
Een aanrader dus.

Update 16-3-2022:
Suddenly it went fast. Last Friday we went to the vet with our Morris, the pain medication no longer worked. We saw him lead. The doctor explained in detail the possibilities, but also that we had to prepare ourselves. We have been given very strong painkillers. That made him calmer, but we saw that he was suffering. A weekend followed and we saw our Morris struggling: he couldn't find a good posture. We pampered him. On Monday we gave him his rest, no more pain. The doctor and the assistants were super nice to Morris, but also to us. We were given all the time. Morris has received a worthy goodbye thanks to these wonderfully lovely people. Thank you!

What lovely vets and assistants. We have been here a few times now with our old Morris and they are genuinely interested and do what they can and give good advice which was annoying for Morris they talk to him sweetly and try to put the little one at ease.
They are also clear. They indicate possible next steps. This way you as the owner can also prepare something.
In terms of prices, they are realistic and do not conduct surveys because that generates income.
So highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a family of 3 plus 2 cats and a pup, we get the warmest of welcomes when entering the clinic.
The reception staff make us feel safe and in good hands with warms smiles for us and lots of cuddles for the little ones.
The vets are knowledgeable and listen, without judgement, to our requests and questions.
After our kittens castration they supported us by keeping him until EoD as we couldn't make it to collect him, they cuddled him, fed him and gave him love, as well as two follow up calls to check in.
We also had a trip to the emergency vet with our pup after he ate some of my medication, when they heard, they called to make sure he was okay - and I think this is outstanding. True care and passion for the patients.
