A	A Google User on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da wir gerne kleine, private Vermieter anstatt Ketten oder große Ferienparks unterstützen, haben wir für die Osterferien 2020 diese Unterkunft gebucht und im Voraus bezahlt. Ja, uns war bewusst, dass es keine Stornierungsmöglichkeit gibt, aber wir hatten ja eine Reiserücktrittsversicherung abgeschlossen, falls jemand krank wird. Nun, die Situation zu Beginn der Osterferien war eine außergewöhnliche: Reisewarnung wegen der Corona-Pandemie u.a. für die Niederlande; der niederländische Premier bittet die Deutschen inständig, nicht in die Niederlande einzureisen; die Bürgermeister der Watteninsel bitten ebenso darum; an der Grenze wird kontrolliert und darum gebeten umzukehren; nach der Rückkehr aus den Niederlanden hätten wir 14 Tage in Quarantäne gemusst. Auf unsere mehrmalige Bitte nach Umbuchung bei Familie Wijnberg kam als standartisierte Antwort, dass die Grenzen geöffnet wären und wir anreisen könnten. Sie schrieben: "Es gibt in dieser Situation keine Gewinner." In diesem Fall haben sich die Vermieter aber leider selbst dazu gemacht, indem Sie den vollen Betrag für keinerlei Leistung einbehalten haben. Fazit: Sicherlich eine hübsche Ferienwohnung mit scheinbar netten Vermietern, solange alles "nach Plan" läuft. Leider zeigte sich dann in diesen besonderen Zeiten (bei allem Verständnis für die Lage der Vermieter) die wahre Gastfreundschaft und nicht vorhandenes Entgegenkommen, da im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Vermietern auf Ameland weder eine Umbuchung noch eine kleine anteilige Rückzahlung (für Strom, Wasser, entfallene Reinigung o.ä.) in Erwägung gezogen wurde. Schade, wir sind sehr enttäuscht und empfehlen State Klaver Vier auch für kommende Urlauber sicher nicht weiter. Since we like to support small, private landlords instead of chains or large holiday parks, we have booked this accommodation for the Easter holidays 2020 and paid for it in advance. Yes, we were aware that there was no cancellation option, but we had taken out travel cancellation insurance in case someone fell ill. Well, the situation at the beginning of the Easter holidays was an extraordinary one: travel warning due to the corona pandemic, etc. for the Netherlands; the Dutch prime minister implores the Germans not to enter the Netherlands; the mayors of the Wadden Island also ask for it; at the border is checked and asked to turn back; after returning from the Netherlands we should have been in quarantine for 14 days. When we asked the Wijnberg family to rebook several times, the standardized answer was that the borders were open and we could arrive. They wrote: "There are no winners in this situation." In this case, however, the landlords have unfortunately made this themselves by withholding the full amount for no service. Conclusion: Certainly a nice holiday apartment with apparently nice landlords, as long as everything goes "according to plan". Unfortunately, in these special times (with all understanding for the situation of the landlords) the real hospitality and non-existent courtesy became apparent, as unlike many other landlords on Ameland neither a rebooking nor a small partial repayment (for electricity, water, omitted) Cleaning or similar) has been considered. It's a shame, we are very disappointed and certainly not recommend State Klaver Vier to future vacationers either.

R	Ronald Elling on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erg fijne plek voor een vakantie op Ameland. De grote tuin is heerlijk voor de kindjes. Schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Samen met vrienden genoten van deze mooie plek en de gastvrijheid. Very nice place for a holiday on Ameland. The large garden is great for the kids. Clean and everything you need is there. Together with friends enjoyed this beautiful place and the hospitality.
M	Mandy Betlem on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuk schattig huisje. Mooie ligging op een hoek waardoor het makkelijk te vinden is en je vanuit de tuin mooi om je heen kan kijken. Het huisje is ziet er mooi en netjes uit. De eigenaren zijn ook altijd vriendelijk en nemen de tijd om even een praatje te maken. Al 2 keer geweest met familie en we gaan zeker weer terug :) (ook leuk als je dan een egeltje in de tuin tegenkomt) Nice cute house. Nice location on a corner which makes it easy to find and you can look around you from the garden. The cottage is nice and tidy. The owners are also always friendly and take the time to chat. Been twice with family and we will definitely be back :) (also nice if you encounter a hedgehog in the garden)
M	Martijn Heerkes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Geweldige plek om te vertoeven. Zowel met als zonder kinderen. Goede uitvalsplek voor van alles. Service is zonder meer top, de eigenaresse is geweldig, maar de eigenaar niet minder. Vooral aan de overkant gaan eten. En anders kan de broer van de eigenaar geweldige kroketten/bitterballen verzorgen. Mooie ruime appartementen ook, wij komen graag nog bij ze weer! Great place to be. Both with and without children. Good starting point for everything. Service is top notch, the owner is great, but the owner no less. Especially eat across the street. And otherwise the owner's brother can provide great croquettes / bitterballen. Beautiful spacious apartments too, we are happy to visit them again!
B	Bart Ph on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi modern ingericht appartement. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig. Ligging 1 km van de vuurtoren en strand en vlakbij alle terrassen en eetgelegenheden. Vriendelijke uitbaters Stephanie en Bjorn! Kortom; we komen zeker terug! Beautiful modern furnished apartment. All facilities available. Location 1 km from the lighthouse and beach and close to all terraces and eateries. Friendly owners Stephanie and Bjorn! In short; we will be back for sure!
