Het is alweer sinds 2016 geleden dat het nieuwe station van Breda werd geopend.
Een prachtig station, maar wij denken regelmatig met weemoed terug aan die goeie, oude tijd van de gekleurde voetgangerstunnel en het busstation.

It has been since 2016 that the new station of Breda was opened.
A beautiful station, but we regularly think back with melancholy to the good old days of the colored pedestrian tunnel and the bus station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk om in de buurt te hebben dit station. Ruim opgezet, mooie architectuur en klaar voor de toekomst. Jammer genoeg is zelfs in 2018 het ondernemersklimaat nog slecht ontwikkeld. Dat is voor reizigers en de buurt niet heel handig ... Vraag me af of dat onderdeel ooit nog van de grond komt. Verder top locatie waar we regelmatig vinden zijn.
Great to have this station nearby. Spacious, beautiful architecture and ready for the future. Unfortunately, even in 2018, the business climate is still poorly developed. That is not very convenient for travelers and the neighborhood ... Wonder if that part will ever get off the ground. Furthermore, top location where we regularly find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dehumanizing scaled, poorly lit, blocky in form & blandly repetitious in its facade with superficial brickwork elements failing to alleviate this utterly depressing revisit to monumentalism architecture. To this day, how Koen van Velsen ever won an architectural award for such a colossal waste of money baffles me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The connections were down where the trains were so you can’t see where you’re headed unless you run down stairs by which time I missed my train. There’s no information anywhere so good luck finding how to connect without the chance of losing your chance to go home.
